I am playing on MSFS 2024 and I have no nav data for any of the default planes… This is driving me crazy because I’ve never seen this issue before and I’ve been a long time Navigraph subscriber. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Navigraph Hub + Simulator Base Packages multiple times with zero success. I noticed within the Microsoft ATR that the “nav data” in the FMC read something like “msfsnavdb” or something similar, however when I went to select a runway for departure it only allowed me to select the runway number and no SID’s… The same was try for my arrival airport- it would let me pick a runway number, but no STAR or approach (I was testing KLAX to KSAN).
I also fly a ton with the Fenix A319/320/321 and I have zero issues with the nav data. All SIDs/STARS/Approaches/Waypoints are recognized and work as expected.
What can I do? I’ve spent all day trying to fix this and am starting to lose my mind a little bit. Thanks in advance!
I ran into this earlier today ironically after moving a bunch of MSFS2020 airports over to try them.
I figured it wasn’t Navigraph because I removed all the Navigraph entries to leave just the default base navdata and had the same issue.
After emptying my Community folder the issue was gone.
Once I removed those sceneries again I had all my nav data including full procedures back again.
I’ve reinstalled Navigraph and everything is working perfectly once more.
Also, this is what the MCDU says… Do you remember if yours said the same? I’ve never seen this before under “active nav data base” it says “AB49012001”
Sorry I didn’t have time to do much troubleshooting yesterday. Once I had established it wasn’t Navigraph the only other change from the day before was I had added a bunch of FS2020 scenery. That made it the obvious first thing to try at that point, and once I removed it I had all my complete navdata back.
No time to dig deeper unfortunately so not sure which scenery/sceneries it might have been but my guess would be any scenery that has navdata in it would be a likely culprit.
I suspect it may have been a freeware MPTO scenery but other likely suspects would be any addon airport that was not originally in MSFS2020 where the developer has included navdata or approaches etc.
I appreciate the response… I’ve been digging through this as I have the time and haven’t found the culprit yet either… I have a lot of add-ons so I’m doing them in groups and then once I find the group I’ll hopefully be able to narrow it down to the specific scenery.
I’ll report back once (or if) I’m able to nail down the culprit.
With it being -20 F here in Minnesota today, I’ve had some time to do a bunch of investigating on this and after some tedious community folder work, I’ve discovered the culprit to be TJPS by PhotoRico. Not sure if yours will be the same or not, but wanted to report back just incase you have this airport and it can save you some effort.
