Missing Navdata Approaches and Departures

Hello,

I searched on this topic but could not find anything. All GA planes in the latest SU1 Beta, I do not see any navdata. No approaches, departures, airport info, etc. I only see Visual approaches. This is for default aircraft with G1000NXi, GNS, GTN, basically every interface. I have uninstalled and reinstalled AIRAC Cycle 2502 rev.1 as well. In fact,l I uninstalled and reinstalled everything from the Navigraph Hub. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you very much for the report, but I have no idea or thoughts. I can’t reproduce it. I’m sorry. Do you have any third-party scenery installed, too? It’s possible some scenery is not 100% SU1 beta compatible.

I’m sorry, but I can see the terminal procedures (based on AIRAC 2502) with the latest SU1 beta version.

Cheers
Richard

Hello. Thank you for the response. I currently have MSFS2024 in default mode with no addon sceneries. I have tried default aircraft and one addon aircraft. They all show no information. This was working prior to the previous SU1BETA update that was released. I do see TWO navigraph settings in the G1000NXi in sim.

All planes such as the FENIX with its own database is working fine. A bit perplexed because I made no changes other than SU1Beta update which is forced to use when on the Beta and simply updated the Navigraph data from the Hub. Thanks!

Hi again,
Very strange indeed. I will recheck it in the next couple of days, the latest SU1 beta may break something again in our data. I will re-check it …

Thanks for your report. I will inform you here when I have analyzed this strange behavior.

Cheers

Hello. This doesn’t seams to heapen in all airports, but I experienced this behavior in some Brazil airports, like SBKP, SBSP and SBJH. I’m in MSFS2024 SU1 beta.

Hi,
Check the runway idents of these airports. Can you confirm that all airport diagrams in MSFS2024 are identical to the real ones?

Does it mean all runways, all correct actual runway idents?

Cheers
Richard

Hello,

Yes, the sceneries runways match the navdata, but after some testing I found the origin of the problem.

For the airports I reported I use a bgl file to correct the wrong comms frequencies in the default scenery. I’m sure this files don’t have any runway information because I made them myself.

It works fine in MSFS2020 and used to work in MSFS2024 before SU1 beta, but now these files make the airports appear without runways with defaul scenery (attaches screenshot) and with 3rd party sceneries they have runways but no procedures.

Maybe asobo changed something in the way he sim reads the bgl files and messed with the sceney runways and by consequence the navdata.

Hi,
Thank you very much for the feedback. The loading order is a mess in MSFS2024, and therefore, the packages “overwrite” other packages that were loaded before.

The official recommendation does not seem to work correctly and is much more strange in the SU1 beta. We only can hope they can and will fix it soon, because this situation is not very good and we can’t do anything here

Thank you very much
Richard
