Various flight plans started hanging on the Simbrief Importing phase from the G3000/GTC in the SF50 VisionJet this evening. No issues several hours ago same FP. Restarted PC/MSFS 2024, issue persisting.
Tried multiple flight plans, occurring across all of them, so not FP specific.
Importing from the GTC in the aircraft. It finds the plan, allows Request, then allows to touch Import, then hangs after displaying Importing…

The issue returned. It’s occurring in the EFB as well as in the GTC in the aircraft, and across multiple FP routes. What I did before that temporarily cleared it (or it seems that it did) was to go over to MSFS 2020 and start a flight and do a Simbrief import. The next one I did in MSFS 2024 worked. But then it recurred.
Update: unfortunately this time switching over to MSFS 2020 did not change the issue when going back to MSFS 2024, which makes sense. So the additional info I can provide now is that it stopped for a flight, and then recurred, w/ the same flight plan. Seems like possibly some kind of bug somewhere. With this same version of MSFS 2024, I had a good stretch of flights using the import process with no issue. I didn’t use 2024 for a few weeks due to all of the issues it has. But tried it again today and encountered this issue.
Any thoughts?
I was just informed over on the BeyondATC discord by other users that this is randomly occurring with the MSFS 2024 Navigraph beta nav data, that it’s a well known issue. Indeed upon searching that discord you can see the various dialogs concerning it, temporary fix is to remove the beta AIRAC.

Hello. Returned to 2024 but still struggling to import the simbrief flight plans in the Vision Jet (FlightFX and MS version) and also in the G1000. In both aircraft the catalogue is shown but it stops during import. This is one of the flight plans that didn´t work for me. Any ideas?

I have seen what I believe is an improvement, after installing the latest workaround from Navigraph in their Navigraph Hub application. It places special characters in the names of two folders that are placed in Community, to influence the ordering (as the root issue) that MSFS 2024 loads things.
The other thing that some users have reported, is not seeing the Navigraph AIRAC cycle in the FMS when pulling up Info.
I have run a number of flights in the C700 with success with Imports since these changes. Note that the very first flight after updating the AIRACs had an issue, but I believe I restarted the PC, and it has been clean since then.
Note that there was another possibly related issue that I have not seen since the above, which was that when loading an aircraft and starting the FMS, I would sometimes notice that there was no “as the bird flies” magenta line from dep to dest apt on the Map, before doing the inport. If that was the case, then even if the FP loaded from Simbrief and displayed in the FP list in the FMS, the route would not display on the Map and then it was a no-go, start over. Is this related or not, maybe not. Both related to data loading issues? Unknown. Only fyi.
AFAIK I updated everything and have the folders with the special characters etc. Just one more of the thousands of issues with MSFS 2024 
Update: Did it once again (update all Navigraph hub apps) and this time why ever it seems to work…
The special characters seem to not be entirely enough - there is still some randomness going on. We will be including another change in the next release of our MSFS2024 AIRAC which we hope will be the final solution - we’re looking forward to hearing your feedback!
