G1000 Flight Plan importing stuck

When i create a simbrief flight plan for the Cessna 172 G1000 i can see it in the flight plan list - i can also select it an activate with no issues however, the window goes to importing and stays there, meaning i cannot either load a different plan.

I also noticed that the flight plans megenta GPS line does not appear in the MFD, i can see all legs/waypoints etc, can select a approaches and such but it does not show the plan. I have also tried activating specific legs in the plan and i also note that my compass rose line does not reflect the leg change and sticks to the original waypoint at flight start.

Same here in the Longitude/g3000

I have the same issue on multiple aircrafts

Hello!

I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with the import. We’ll investigate this after the holidays!

Which simulator are you using, 2020 or 2024?

Kind Regards,
Malte

No problem, let me know if you need anything further.

Can confirm it happened in each flight I had.

I have also noted that the navigraph addons available in the hub seem to entirely wipe out the EFB flight plan. Not sure if intended or not to be honest. Might be because the simbrief import is meant to take over so may be a feature rather than bug. Once I removed it all bar the sim brief button in the EFB it worked fine and I could see the MSFS EFB flight plan again.

I also attempted with everything installed to send data to avionics from sim brief and then back into the flight plan but alas this did not populate the msfs EFB flight plan either.

I have the thread on watch so will see if you require anything else

Ohh and its 2024 I’m using

Thanks

Hello again!

That is not intended and should be fixed in the latest version! See this post:

I will look into the stuck import next. To make things easier, please provide me with specific flightplans that are failing for you so that I know for sure when the issue is fixed!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Will give it a shot tomorrow and see if I can get a flight plan to get stuck on me. Previously it was any and all plans didn’t matter where on the g1000 Cessna 172 as soon as you hit import it would sit at importing on the screen and not change.

Will give it another go and report back for you some time tomorrow pm

Appreciate getting back to me and your updates.

Thank you for giving it another go!

This does seem related to what I posted here:

That could explain why it works fine for me but not for you. The ordering of our navigation data packages seems out of our control…

updated to latest version and upon opening EFB - Flight plan is deleted. This is career mode fyi. however im not using navigraph/simbrief during these sessions but i cannot progress with them on as with the set mission im greeted with an empty flight plan.

If i remove the plugins via the hub it all goes back to normal. edit added screenshot 2 of all navigraph plugins disabled and EFB back to normal - its somehow jumped above screenshot one however.

Empty flight plan is navi plugins on - route shown on map is navigraph plugins disabled.

mal

import works fine now whatever happened, loaded right away- VFR/IFR view on g1000 unusable due to flickering - think thats been reported already however

Actually, your screenshot correctly shows the map rendering a magenta line as well as waypoints, airports, etc., which means that you are not affected by the issue caused by our EFB addons anymore. If you were, the map would just be the satellite images.

Instead, I am pretty sure that you are having navigation data ordering issues. See this reply from someone else who was able to fix it!

You can find a topic with similar symptoms here:

Give the proposed solution a go and let me know how it works!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Thats my poor explination - the megenta line and waypoints is with all your addons disabled - as soon as i enable all of them i get the other screenshot - no meganta gps line or waypoints appear.

Hmm. I can’t reproduce, and so far I have only had reports of success after other users have updated to the new versions.

Please uninstall all our addons and add the latest version back one-by-one. When does the issue occur?

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hello again!

To whom it may concern: We have now released a revised AIRAC package in the Navigraph Hub that contains a temporary workaround that should fix many navigation data-related issues. Please update and give it a go, then let me know how it worked out!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Having the same issue even with latest AIRAC from the hub. G1000 and G3000 (VisionJet FlightFX and MS) stuck at import.
Nevermind. After trying a few days a (again) new install of all navigraph hub apps seems to be the solution now. Why ever now all seems to work again in the G1000s.

It’s nice to hear that it’s working again! We have another fix that should be the “official” solution coming in the next AIRAC update as well.

A fix would be highly appreciated as the next day it didn’t work again :see_no_evil: IFR without Simbrief import is not really nice

As a temporary workaround, you can open our navigation data packages and edit the manifest.json file! You need to modify/add a key like this:

  "package_order_hint": "CUSTOM_NAVDATA",

Let me know if that helps the situation! Make sure to restart the simulator.

So in every Navigraph community folder? avionics-g3x, -g1000, g3000, nav-base and so on?

And where would I add the line?

{“title”:“Avionics Plugin G1000 v2.0.0-beta.1”,“manufacturer”:“Navigraph”,“creator”:“Navigraph”,“package_version”:“2.0.0-beta.1”,“minimum_game_version”:“0.0.0”,“builder”:“Navigraph MSFS Build Pipeline”,“release_notes”:{“neutral”:{“LastUpdate”:“”,“OlderHistory”:“”}},“dependencies”:,“content_type”:“MISC”,“total_package_size”:695311}

Sorry no, only the ones related to navigation data (!!!navigraph-nav-base and }}}navigraph-nav-jepp)!

Here is a zip file with the modified files. Just extract it and drag the two resulting folders to the community folder! You should be asked to overwrite 2 files.
