Moving map function not working on Mac OS

I’ve tried multiple times to connect Xp11 to navigraph moving maps. However this never works. Some help would be much appreciated!

Hi…,

Welcome.

You need Simlink for Simlink for macOS. Please advise what steps you take to include this including any error messages. Screenshots help using Guide to posting Screenshots.

I already had downloaded simlink for Mac OS and it wasn’t working for some reason.

Please advise what steps you have taken to install this including any error messages. Screenshots help using Guide to posting Screenshots.

To Ian,
Thanks for your swift reply. Here is a screenshot of the error message on navigraph app.

I downloaded the Mac OS app from the Navigraph installer, and sim link. Wasn’t sure what to do with simlink though.

Hi…,

When you download and run the Charts for macOS installer

you should see the two actions required (drag and Install) . You double click on the Simlink.pkg to install Simlink.

Simlink connects to X-Plane to provide our servers with you aircraft position. When we display your chart we place your aircraft icon on the map.

Hi, I’ve downloaded both of those, is it just a matter of keeping the simlink app open when flying?

You need to install them using Drag and Double click as per the instructions above.

Once installed Simlink starts and stops when X-Plane 11 starts and stops. The first time Simlink starts you will be prompted for your Navigraph login details.

You can click the moving map icon in Charts top right to invoke moving map

To Ian,
When I first opened simlink no box appeared to put my navigraph details in?

Just got it working, thanks for your help!

You are welcome.

Happy flying.
