In addition, if I plan for a cruise schedule of M80, suddenly ETOPS fuel is not required. I strongly suspect there’s a valid reason behind this, but I am curious as to what it is?

Hi Tim,

I think the missing remarks should be fixed now.

And unless I’m mistaken, I think the ETOPS scenario changed when you planned M80 vs M82 (the alternates changed), which is why no ETOPS fuel was needed there. I’m not sure why that might be, any number of things can influence the auto-selection. Perhaps the longer flight time and later arrival pushed one of the alternates below minimums in the M80 case.
