The “Min Rwy” field in the profiles for the PMDG B738 and the Fenix Axxx aircraft has been set to 7000 ft. IRL these aircraft land and takeoff from runways whose published length in Navigraph is under 7000 ft., e.g., KHPN rrunway 16/34 at 6549 ft. My question is how’s this value used by Simbrief ? What role does this field have when computing landing performance ?
It’s used for alternate airport selection only.

Tim,
OK but meaning what ? Airports with runways shorter than 7000 ft. are discarded as alternate candidates ?
Pretty much. As I understand it, if all runways are less than 7000 ft, then it’s discarded as an alternate airport candidate.

Tim
