When I start the lesson, status (“in progress” and “completed” does not update and I get no debrief.
Are you running “Navigraph Simlink” plugin in the background, its a small piece of app that runs on your PC and links the activity from Flight Simulator to the Navigraph server for evaluating the lesson.

I downloaded Dimlink. After installation, I got a message that it had been updated for X-Plane 11 and x-Plane 12. How do I check to see if it’s active for FS2020.
In the System Tray (Systray) next to Window clock, click on the up arrow to show hidden icons:
Click on the green Navigraph Simlink icon:
This will bring up the Simlink Status page which will show if you are connected in your FlightSim:
