iOS/iPadOS v8.38.1 Issues with route and map layers

Same problem here. Version 8.38.1 iOS is flakey. Sometimes doesn’t show the route, nor the maps. Works fine on the PC side, but that one is version 8.38.0. Just happened on the iOS update.

Same problem here. Tried reinstalling, still no route or weather display. IFR high and IFR low maps are only white, VFR map very simple (shows only mountains …)

Hello everyone!

I have moved your posts to a new topic, as the issue is, with high certainty, unrelated to the topic that this was originally posted on.

We can reproduce some new issues in the map that went unnoticed into the release, and we are currently trying to track them down! Thanks for the feedback so far.

Kind Regards,
Malte

I have the same problem thanks for you sharing this post.

when? we have pay for this as you, know

I thought it was a bad install on my part. But after several R-squares, I determined that it wasn’t a bad install. It sure looks weird without anything on the map.

Working great on my PC and Android.

Version 8.38.1, Build i-0e7a7741
iPAd OS: 18.3

Hi Petter,

We are very aware of our valued paying users.

The issue will be dealt with by the team during the working week if not before.

Cheers

Updated the iPad OS to 18.3.1 and now all is good in Navigraph Charts on my iPad.

Not on mine… it works sometime, but generally not predictable. They should be changing the version after the fix, else chaos on who’s who in the zoo going forward… still at 8.38.1

Try Closing it after you initially load the flight, and see if the track and maps are still there…

iOS updated fixed mine as well.

Hi Just posted same issues,

My PC works, my iphone works but my iPad8 OS 18.3.1 does not

Looking forward to a fix.

Greetings. After latest update routes no longer show up on the map. I either see blank screen or just a globe. No routes shown. Latest iOS version. The app was reinstalled several times. Changing WiFi network does not help. Thanks

Hello @speedbird144 ! I have moved your post here to keep the amount of topics dedicated to the same issue to a minimum. We are investigating this internally already!

Kind Regards,

2 posts were merged into an existing topic: Simlink disconnects after MSFS2024 Launch

Fixed with latest update, thank you

The temporary solution for me in my iPad is to swipe up all open apps and remove them, then reopen Navigraph app. Also turning live traffic on and off may populate the route. The first solution works most of the time.

No maps at all with latest ios (18.3.1), charts are accessible though - this is observed both before and after updating to the Charts app on the app store (i.e. build i-0e7a7741) and rebooting the ipad, no error message displayed, just constant spinner where the maps would be.

17:37GMT - charts now back, must’ve been a sever-side issue causing it, since no changes at my end.

Thank you for the update! I am happy to hear that it now works again.

We have not made any changes, and the servers in question are static resources hosted by Amazon AWS. This means that it was probably something temporary on your network route to Amazon’s servers which has now been resolved!
