I subscribed but I'm lost?

Ok, so I subscribed at 25 Euros per year but what do I get exactly as everything I open says DEMO mode including the flypad in the A32NX?

Hi…

Welcome.

You have an FMS yearly subscription. To access Charts non Demo and FMS Data you need an Ultimate (Monthly or Yearly) subscription.

You can convert across to Ultimate at subscriptions . Your existing payment will be credited towards the new subscription.

Thanks Ian. You are the knowledgeable chap from Australia that I watched on video earlier today. You have to excuse my ignorance but tech and I have started to part company!!

Thank you for kind words. From time to time technology can be challenging. We continually strive to make the interface intuitive.

Thanks, yes, I’m still struggling to understand exactly what I have purchased and where it helps me in MSFS 2020 but I will get there…I hope?

Hi again Ian, ok, so I purchased the FMS yearly subscription but either I need something else or I’m completely missing the point. I have no add ons that are found in MSFS and only use the Flybywire A32NX, the flypad opens the chart/map in demo mode, as it also does by using the Navigraph tab at the top of the screen in the navigation bar. I also only get demo mode on my desktop. Am I therefore correct in my thinking that I not only need the subscription (which I purchased) but also need to purchase one or other of the 2 remaining subscriptions available, eg. From where I see it at the moment my £24 has purchased nothing of benefit to me?
Regards,
Gary

Hi Gary,

As I mentioned above,

You have an FMS yearly subscription. To access Charts you need an Ultimate (Monthly or Yearly) subscription.

You can convert your FMS yearly subscription to Ultimate at subscriptions . Your existing payment will be credited towards the new subscription.

If this is not clear please ask.

Ian

Hi Ian, yes, I get that but my question really is “What does the FMS yearly sub give me” as I have found nothing of use?
Regards,
Gary

Hi Gary,

The FMS Data service provides up to date FMS navdata for MSFS aircraft. These are updated very 28 day AIRAC cycle. Please see Navigraph for more information.

Ian

So I can uninstall FMS data manager then as its not intended for MSFS2020?
Regards,
Gary

Hi Gary,

Correct, MSFS 2020 is updated using the Navigraph Navdata Center

Ian

Many thanks Ian, I appreciate your patience.
Kind regards.
Gary
