I can no longer log in to Simbrief Dispatch in MSFS 2020

Since today I can no longer log in to Simbrief Dispatch in MSFS 2020. I keep getting the same error message when I try to log in via the QR code or the Code.

‘An error occured during authentication: Error: expected value at line 1 column 1’

A few minutes ago I was given the option in Navigraph Hub to update Simbrief Dispatch.
I restarted the computer and now when I click the Simbrief button in the cockpit nothing happens…

It still doesn’t work.


If I just fly without logging in to SimBrief Dispatch (The tablet in the FBW A320 does give me access to SimBrief) after a while the following error message appears in red on the screen:

‘AUTHENTICATION ERROR: DeviceFlowTokenExpiredError: Autentication failed. Device flow token expired.’

Thanks for your response. I have performed the update, restarted the PC but without result.

I still cannot log in to SimBrief on the world map or in the cockpit of the sim.
Always the same error message as in the message above.

I can download my SimBrief flights e.g. via the tablet in the FBW A32N, this works perfectly.
The Navigraph Charts app also works perfectly.

Same issue here. No reboot, no restart helped so far. Authentication error, it says. Keeps mentioning value 1 in the column 1, or whatever it is.

I did what you suggested. Then restarted the sim once without simbrief in the community folder. Then restarted the PC. The version you sent me via the link, put in the community folder, started the sim and again it is impossible to log in with the QR or the link.

Interesting. I am not able to reproduce.

We suspect that the new datastorage layer we added in the last update is causing you problems. If that is the case, this version should work better for you! Please follow the same steps as before and install this:

WE DID IT!!

If I understand correctly, I am now NOT allowed to update SimBrief Dispatch via the Navigraph Hub for the time being? Or will that be possible again in a next version?

For now, please avoid updating through the Hub. We will release another update, likely after Christmas, that should be usable to you too! I will try to let you know!

Actually, could you try the recently released 1.2.5 from the Hub? I have reason to believe that the fixes in that version could affect your situation in a positive way!

If it still does not work, please do let us know. In that case, you can just use the version you have!

Is there a solution for fs 2024? Can’t log in either but in MSFS2024. Did an update via the hub.

I tried version 1.2.5 but got the same error when logging in. So I reinstalled the version you recommended yesterday. This one works…

There should not be an issue for 2024… Do you mean the EFB app? If you can’t sign in there, please create a dedicated topic as it is a whole different thing!
