This is a question not a issue, so feel free to change the category of this post as needed.
Lets say I am flying the ATR 72 which I believe is a category B approach aircraft, into OR Tambo (FAOR) using the ILS Z 03L (11-1) straight-in as shown below:
Would my minimums for the approach be 5758? What is the 200 next to the value for then?
Then secondly if 5758 is my minimums what is the R550m and R1000m for? Hope you guys can help me understand!
Hello, I think you are just confusing two thing together
That line DA(H) 5758’ (200’) is your Decision Altitude (DA) and Decision Height (DH). So at 5758 AMSL you decide if you going around or continue. Not familiar with the airport, but from what I see the RWY would be 5558, so 200 added will be 5758 AMSL.
The “R” values are minimum RVR (Required Visual Range, I think) basically. If the ALS (approach lighting system) is out, you have the 1000 m minimum visual range.
I hope I didn’t confuse you even more Feel free to ask any following questions
