Fms-downloader obscures Windows widgets [BUG]

Hi,

First of all, thanks for the amazing experience in SimBrief! Love it :+1:

As for the problem, I have had this for a couple of years now and only just now discovered a possible source: v1.7.0 of the simbrief downloader.

The bug is essentially that there appears to be some hidden window that blocks my ability to select Windows folder popup items, or click in address bar areas, or select potentially anything with the mouse button such as clicking “save” when closing notepad, for example.

What I ended up noticing is that the invisible area appeared to vary and move, and the size of the application window having the problem would sometimes work, and other times not.

As a test, I positioned the Windows task manager on the screen such that I could mouse over one of the choices (Processes, Performance, App history, etc.) but not others. And sure enough, as soon as I got to closing the fms-downloader, every since problem I had went away.

I suspect that you would know more about what is going on here (Windows 11, Nvidia, btw), but feel free to reach out if you need more info. In the mean time I will simply leave this application disabled and await an update!

Upon further testing, I noticed that the problem went away when I closed another application in the Icon tray. Perhaps this is NOT your application’s problem after all. My apologies!

It seems that it is something to do with the icon tray, but after a reboot and more thorough retest, the problem stopped coming back when launching the fms downloader, but with another application in the tray icon area.

For whatever reason, when I start the other app it generally comes back, but sometimes quitting your app or the other one (Flir Ignite Sync) solves the problem, thus my original confusion.
