FMS Data Manager Updates

I performed my first AIRAC update in the FMS Data Manager. My G1000 in X-Plane 12 got updated to 2508 but not my flight plans. I had to manually edit the script files in each flight plan file to reflect 2508. Am I missing something in the FMS Data Manager updates?

Hi,
No, the FMS Data Manager only updates the data but doesn’t change anything - ex. existing flight plans.

Flight plans should constantly be recreated with the effective cycle. Not a part of the FMS Data Manager.
