Flight plan in MSFS24 differs from what SimBrief created

Hi everyone. I am new to Sim flying but having a total blast. I came across sim brief and the tutorials presented and found them very helpful. I was just trying to do a basic plan from a random runway in my city and landing at KDCA. The route is KCGS/33 N0110F020 DCT SETOC DCT DCA DCT KDCA/19 When I load the plan in game, I don’t get SETOC at all. I tried another from KIAD to KDCA and when using the flight plan loader, it would not show the flight path on the MFD. Am I missing something completely obvious here? Thanks in advance!

I had a quick look and SETOC existed a number of years ago but the current 19 RNP approach plate does not show it.

So, I’d say it was removed. Maybe because it was so close to GREYZ.

Simbrief say SETOC doesn’t exist too.

Ah ok! Then I just unluckily picked a route that wasn’t available. Thanks so much for responding!

No worries. It is a lot to learn!

You can just enter your two airports then go to Suggested Routes and click on them. Simbrief will tell you if they are valid for the current Airac. Simbrief can give you SIDs and STARs but won’t give you approaches though. And depending on which ATC you use (if any) it may ignore the SID and/or STAR. Especially if there is a wind change in-sim.

I spend a good portion of my time just watching tutorial videos online. It’s definitely a lot! But I find this type of simming more fun than racing. Thanks for the tip!
