The new forum has an excellent facility to report a problem solved. In the reply post to an issue, if you are happy the issue is resolved, please click the … and then click Solution .
The topic will show a ticked solved icon. After a period currently set to one week after the last post in that topic, the topic will close to further posts.
Moderators can set this Solution, but it is preferable for the poster to do this.
In Latest , there is an option to display solved unsolved topics
