Would there be anyway to “submit” to you a route as Eurocontrol valid? Perhaps create a special option that would push it to you for validation?
I was planning ENBR - LFMN but none of the provided route were valid. I eventually managed to create one that is Eurocontrol compliant but thought it might be helpful for others.
And that happens quite often on “non-regular” routes. Not sure what are your views on this but I think it would definitely help creating a wider database of valid routes!
Hello there,
I got a similar issue for some other unusual routes in Europe.
Is there some way we can add our valid routes or update existing ones to the database?
I’m currently flying LFBO to LFBO and there’s an issue with the Eurocontrol marked route, it is valid but only in lower airspace. The second one given by Simbrief is Eurocontrol valid in upper airspace but is marked as a VATSIM route so it only comes up second in the list.
Is there anyway we could edit these?
i am using PFPX and mostly flying non standard routes due to my Longitude Private Flying. Checking always if it is ifps validate (eurocontrol validated)
I know about the diffoculties to get a eurocontrol validated flight plan (actually a eurocontrol validated floght plan route). But let me tell you about the need to get this hobby as real as possible. I can say that for many of us is a way to learn or some way to be ready for a new job. It does not matter. Tje question is: do we need a reliable tool able to offer us a flight plan with an accurate altitude given current restrictions?
And for all people flying in Europe, can we wish of a tool offering always eurocontrol validated routes?
Well, there is more than a way to achieve this goal: One, to get a miracle API from Eurocontrol to validate our route, directly.
Two, to manage all user routes via a batch process, not real time, but with a reasonable frequency. And three, providing us with a tool to communicate that our route has got validated by Eurocontrol at our request.
I like to deal with RAD to validate routes, but I am sure not everyone is. Even me, when I am in a rush.
Just consider it, please.
