Edit route in Charts after exporting SimBrief flight to file

Hi but if my route/FP it’s already generated in simbrief and file downloaded and saved in aircraft file like PMDG that change do anything?

Hello! Thanks for posting. I moved your post to a dedicated topic as it is not directly related to the topic you first posted on.

In this case, changing anything in Charts will not affect the saved file on your computer - no.
What modifications do you want to make to the route, specifically?

While you would never have the procedure as part of the company route anyway (procedures are weather and airport-operations dependent), there is something you can do if you want to make changes in Navigraph Charts before exporting your flight to the aircraft, but still want to use SimBrief:

  1. Create the flight in Navigraph Charts
  2. Copy the route to your clipboard (“Copy to clipboard” option in the export menu)
  3. Create a SimBrief flight, and manually paste the route that you copied into the route field
  4. Download the SimBrief flightplan and load it in your addon of choice

Unfortunately, that’s about it. Navigraph may own SimBrief, but they are still separate products since we want to keep SimBrief freely available to its many users. If you want to use Navigraph Charts to edit a route that SimBrief should use, you will need to follow this procedure!
