CTD when Navdata on some China airports with FSHud (MSFS2020)

Hello,

I had emptied the Community folder, fresh clean installation done and tested with some airports (VHHH, VMMC, ZGGG):

FSHud running + no AIRAC installed = ok

FSHud not running + AIRAC installed = ok

FSHud running + AIRAC installed = CTD

If I install default VHHX by Asobo, no CTD. But when flying near China area from the South, the CTD

Hi,
Thanks for your testing time. The “missing scenario” is AIRAC without FSHud … FSHud generates the data by itself, so we have no influence.

The question is, does this happen when you use the AIRAC only too, so without FSHud?

Also, it could be a scenery issue. You wrote that it doesn’t happen with the stock scenery, which is the first indicator of that theory.

Yes the scenario as stated above:

FSHud not running + AIRAC installed = ok

I tried all scenarios with community folder emptied (only with navigraph installed). Weird thing is I have to additonally install the VHHX by Asobo in order for AIRAC and FSHud to start my flight (for example stock VHHH) successfully.

Without VHHX, some airports near VHHH will crash when i start my flight with both AIRAC and FSHud running.

The problem here is really the database behind FSHud. I have no idea how this works, if FSHud uses the sceneries in MSFS, and when and in what way.

The data looks good so far, and so does your configuration. So, it must be any combination in some areas. It is doubtful that this has something to do with the MSFS AIRAC because it would happen everywhere, not only in specific areas.

I remember that FSHud had fixed something with scenery incompatibility for a few months, but please don’t ask me what, and if this is correct.

We have no background information about this tool because FSHud offers its own data generated from our data. It’s like a black box for us, sorry.

Thanks for your information. Looks like really a FSHud issue as so far I heard no issues with other traffic app. They are just being denial.
