CHARTS - Weather overlay (ICE and Turbulence)

CHARTS desktop for me is missing ICE and Turbulence overlay options in weather. This is a recent occurrence.

This has been mentioned in several topics already, and this is the latest statement:

Icing and Turbulence layers missing

As a short update (also mentioned in this thread), it seems like NOAA has decided to stop distributing this data openly. Unfortunately, this means that we will have to find an alternative source with the same quality, which is proving to be a challenge. We will try to make this happen as soon as possible, but it could take time! You can read the official message from NOAA here. We realize that these are some of the most useful weather layers in our collection, so we apologize for the inconvenie…

There is no simple way to solve this. We are communicating with new sources, but even if we find a new source, it would likely still take time for us to add it back to our products. We’re sorry for the inconvenience - this is unfortunately beyond our control!
