Charts use with FSS 727-200 Freighter

Charts will not import into the Electronic Paper Clipboard in my FSS 727-200 Freighter.

This in MS2020.

The Simbrief weights etc data load in ok.The charts will not load onto the page.

An Error 404 message appears.

The Developer said I should contact you.

I wondered if you had heard of others having this issue with this aircraft.?

The charts work ok in my standalone PC desktop.

Thankyou for any assistance.

Hello! Welcome back to our forum!

Unfortunately, we’ll need more details in order to be able to help you.

What airport are you trying to load? What does the error look like? Screenshots could help!

Kind Regards,
Malte

  1. EGCC Manchester.
  2. See attached screenshots. One shows Simbrief info loading into the Aircraft tablet - no issues, works fine. The second screenshot shot shows the page of the tablet showing the error message when i choose EGCC chart

I realise finding reason is difficult but just a couple of questions

  1. Can the scenery affect whether charts import into an aircraft correctly?
  2. I use addon linker to limit what is in my community folder but still have a few permanent folders in my community folder including the navigraph ones. Can other folders in comm folder affect whether charts import correctly into an aircraft tablet?
  3. Does Error 401 mean anything you know of?
  4. Kind regards
  5. Steve

Problem sorted.Had to log out and in to navigraph and it is ok now

  1. No
  2. No
  3. Yes!

401 means that your interface (the EFB in this case) did not provide valid credentials that identified you as a Navigraph user in our system.

Alternatively, credentials were provided, but did not show that you were subscribed to the Ultimate subscription. This can happen if, for example, you sign in without a subscription and then purchase one within an hour of signing in!

For both these issues, signing out and signing in again is the first step! It seems you have already found this to be successful. I’m happy to hear it!

Kind Regards,
Malte
