Alttitude and Speed Restrictions in STARS X-Plane

Hi. So I reported a bug on the ToLiss forums in X-Plane that when the last point of an airway is the starting from a STAR, it won’t have alttitude and speed restrictions in it. I haven’t got official answer there but I wonder if you can check the forum (linked) and check if maybe it is related to you or something as it happens in all ToLiss aircraft which use default navdata afaik.

Hi,
I can´t say anything about the ToLiss logic how they handle such issue (also how real-aircraft handles this), but I have looked into the STAR UMKA7C (6C is outdated) and here we have the correct altitude restriction “above FL240”. What I know, this should be used - means a terminal procedure (SID-STAR-IAP) has a “higher priority” as an airway waypoint but again, what I can do is to check the data but how the addons handle such situation.

Here, what we offer in the UMKA7C arrival into SCEL:

So, no speed restriction but a altitude restriction.

Airways in general has only upper and lower level restriction (upper and lower airways) but not hard-coded altitude restrictions as terminal procedures (also in XP11/12).

Again, I don´t know how the ToLiss (or other addons) handles this but according the data, all seems to be correct so far.

Cheers,
Richard
