Every single one of my FS2020 (Marketplace) airplanes that were visible in FS2024 disappear as soon as Install the AIRAC 2412 rev.1 Beta. These were planes bought in the FS2020 marketplace and automatically were transferred to FS2024. The default FS2024 planes remain and third party planes in the Community folder remain. Only FS2020 Marketplace airplanes disappear.
This is repeatable. Uninstalling the 2412 cycle does not restore the aircraft without having to reinstall them from the content manager.

I think this has something to do with Navigraph Hub modifying the “content.xml” file each time it is opened (ie. when you update your AIRAC or other Navigraph components).
I believe this is meant to prioritise the Navigraph AIRAC data over the default MSFS AIRAC data.
The problem is that this also purges all other information from the content.xml file - This information is responsible for enabling or disabling streamed content, whether it be scenery, aircraft etc.
Okay, I just tested this. After installing the ARAC cycle, the sim DOES drop all 2020 aircraft, however unlike previously, I can now re-install them and they seem to remain after multiple boots into the sim. Previously, I could not re-install the planes at all with the cycle loaded.
Probably not a perfect solution, but it does seem to work if users expect that they will have to reinstall planes. I don’t know if this will delete custom control mappings per plane or if things like hour-meters will be rest, I did not test that.
My next test will be to buy a new plane in 2020 and see if it is imported to 2024 with the ARAC cycle installed.
Thanks for the report, it was a mistake on my side that left some of that logic intact. This time it should work also on install of the package. Really sorry for the trouble. Please report back if you encounter any new problems
