I’ve been playing with the G1000 plug-in while in the C172 in FS2024. When I started the VR session, Navigraph seems to have the information (maps, etc) set up for the airport I’m departing from; excellent, I can see what I need there for taxiing, etc. I can set the GPS (direct-to) to take me to the target airport and navigation works. However, in FS2020, I could look at the charts for either the departure or arrival airport on a flight. I haven’t seen how to do this in the G1000 implementation. No matter where I go in the menu system the apparently “current” airport is still set to the one I departed from. How can I get the context of the airport information to change to another location? (I.E. the airport I’m flying to).
In VS2020 I was also able to just bring the entire Maps application into the cockpit. Is this available for FS2024? If so, how would I access it? (So I can look at the various charts). I don’t want to bust Charlie!
