have noticed this on a few occasions, whereby the position of the aircraft doesnt appear on the map, in this case it seems to be behind the dashed box and will reappear again in this case when passing anthm bottom right of the box
does anyone have any guidance on this?

The box depicts a distorted/compressed section of the procedure, in order for it to fit entirely on the chart while providing more detail in the central parts.
As it is not drawn to scale, we cant put the aircraft icon on top. See the text note on the dashed section chart that says ”NOT TO SCALE”. When the aircraft enters the section that is drawn to scale, it appears.
