AAU3 and Navigraph crash MSFS

To be honest with you it seems like a MS issue; im sure NG want the direct link but MS has always been a bit iffy with developers with lack of communication etc.

An email would be nice I agree but even the actual game tells you to remove 3rd party content if the game crashes etc and many people might have emails off etc so it just turns into a big hassle.

MS have messed this update up a little unfortunately, not only did they break navdata they also removed user uploaded airports that were submitted.

I saw somewhere that removing the navdata from the sim, starting it, deleting Scottish Bush Trip from content manager then shutting the sim down then reinstalling navdata might fix it but I heard that from a friend.

Either way im staying with navigraph, this issue isn’t caused by them and they’re stuck at the same level as us,

I don’t work for navigraph, I’m just a customer. And as it seems there’s nothing they can do this really is just not the mailbox to drop the frustration. That’s all on adobo/microsofts shoulders. Head over to their forums.

Navigraph didn’t know what was going on and when they found out I think it was only fair game they pointed us to MS. Basically they are in the same boat as us, like they explained.

You may be projecting your own frustration there and were you not the one to take up this thread. Maybe you shouldn’t have. Might have been better not to take it up. Possibly a case of nobrakes :crazy_face:

Here is the final hotfix (released on Oct 2nd, 2024 - 16:30 UTC) from MSFS, to solve this issue:

Cheers,
Richard
