Once the latest Airac is installed from the Navigraph Hub (2413 beta), many waypoints are missing in the sim (msfs 2024). At the same time, Simbrief is unable to import a flightplan into the sim without causing a CTD. I’m suspecting these issues are related?
Once I uninstalled the Navigraph Airac from the community folder, waypoints are restored as normal.
Because I cannot import simbrief flightplans without a CTD, my workaround has been to export the pln flie from the simbrief downloader. Then open the EFB tablet in the sim, load the flight plan from the pln file, then send to avionics. When the Navigraph Airac was installed, the import failed because all waypoints are missing. Once the Navigraph Airac is removed, I’m able to send the pln to avionics successfully.
Hi,
thank you very much for the detailed report. Much appreciated. We are currently analyzing the collected reports here and will try to fix it as soon as possible.
At the moment, I can’t say what the root cause is, but we will find it. Thank you very much for your posting!
I’m noticed a similar problem. MSFS 2024, G3000 (TBM9), frequencies (KBFL ground, tower, etc.) and waypoints such as PMD VOR are missing. The nearby option also didn’t recognize PMD. Removing the Navigraph G3000 plugin and AIRAC fixed the problem.
Open the Hub and remove and reinstall the AIRAC cycle → start the sim and try it again, please
… or:
2. When you have installed our in-game panel, open the Hub and remove the in-game panel → start the sim and try it again. Please
I assume #1 will fix your issue. We had to change the packages due to a change in the loading order, and you are still using the old package name. Removing and reinstalling should solve the issue.
Cheers
Richard
PS: it’s only one time. When it’s done, you should never run into this issue
Hi thanks, I used step 1. It did work, but only for 1 flight. I tried another flight later today, and the same issue as before, no waypoints. I removed the airac from NH just using the default for now until this is resolved.
A bit frustrating. I’ve been a subscriber for years with you, on Prepar3d with no issues at all.
Hi,
It is also frustrating because issues do not only come from us. The MSFS2024 itself and the SDK are buggy and not well documented. We have opened three tickets in the MSFS dev forum (two more tickets are in the pipeline).
Even on these usually free days, we are working nearly around the clock to find solutions and workarounds to improve the service, but we get no help and no support from MS/ASOBO. All such development is highly time-consuming due to loading times and CTDs without logs, …
We do really our best to offer a good service, but MS/ASOBO closes the doors more and more for 3rd party devs to do their own/only business.
I can only imagine. Not a business personally I’d want to be in.
I can say, that I appreciate all the work you’ve done. Thanks for trying to make it right. please take some time for yourself.
I still have to make a decision on this hobby, if MSFS is worth it. P3d has it’s own set of problems, but at least everything was working.
I have the same issue. It does not sync, SID, STARS and waypoints on airports. This is A320 Flybywire. However on Fenix A320 and others it does work well
