Updated navdata with hub for pmdg737,FMC display old cycle

Hello, I’m encountering a very perplexing navigation data update issue. Yesterday, I used Navigraph Hub for the first time to update the navigation data for my PMDG 737-800. Prior to this, my 737’s navigation data was already on cycle 2410. However, Navigraph Hub indicated an available update, so I proceeded with it.

Upon installation, a warning popped up indicating insufficient permissions for a certain cache folder in the C drive where the navigation data zip file was stored. The installation button showed “Remove” in red, leaving me unsure if the installation was successful. I adjusted the cache folder’s permissions, clicked “Remove,” and reinstalled the update.

However, upon entering the game, the FMC displayed navigation data as cycle 2310. I assumed there was an installation issue, so I tried removing and reinstalling the data several times, but the problem persisted. In the Community folder, the config/navdata/cycle_info file under PMDG 737 shows cycle 2410. I also tried clearing both the navdata and sidstar folders, but the FMC in-game still displays 2310.

Today, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the PMDG 737. Initially, the navdata cycle info showed 2310. After updating, the cycle info showed 2410, but once in-game, the FMC continued to display 2310. I also tried updating the data via EFB, but it stalled at 80% and didn’t complete. I’m not sure if this is related to the main issue.

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest you do another Windows uninstall of PMDG 737-800, download and install PMDG PMDG-737-800 updating to v 3.0.0105.

Download and install latest Navigraph Hub.

Use Hub to Install:

Do not use EFB to install Navigation Data update until PMDG release v 3.0.0106

Sorry, I will do another uninstall and install this night, and i will post the ident page. Still in office.

I just restarted the hub and found that version 2411 was released, so I tried to upgrade to 2411. After entering the simulator, I found that the navigation data in the FMC has successfully updated to 2411. Although I still don’t know how the issue occurred, it seems to be fine now. This was a puzzling and brain-teasing problem; the navdata and sidstar data were all 2410, yet the FMC kept displaying 2310. To figure out why, I even used ChatGPT this afternoon to try unpacking PMDG’s program to see if there was another source for the FMC data. Anyway, thanks for your reply.谢谢
