Hi Navigraph, why isn’t it possible to put an update button in your app for updating the Navdata for MSFS2020 instead of always need to remove and install again?

the Navigraph Navdata Center has this “UPDATE” button … you don´t need to remove and re-install it. Simple click on the UPDATE button … that´s it

I do not have any update Button, the button name is “remove” , there is not “update” as you can see!?
… but you still have the newest cycle installed. What update do you now expect?
You will see the green update- button only when a new dataset is available (new revision or new cycle).

I reinstalled today since I needed to renew the whole sim after MS2020 update so the screen is showing the newes version, but in past there was only a remove as shown. and beside you pic is also showing the newest version and “update” so what exactly do you want to know?

I have only informed you, that you can’t see the update button, when you still have installed the latest cycle. Nothing more … I use an internal trick, to show you the button on an screenshot.
Possible you have manually moved the navigraph-navdata package out of your community folder and not back again. In this case the app can’t update it because the app doesn’t found the data.
Manual moving the navigraph-navdata package out of the community folder (due a sim update as an example) is NOT recommanded. When you want to do this, use the app to remove the data but don’t move the folder manually
