Hi, that’s strange. Can you clarify what you mean by “no response”?
Can you also confirm that you are clicking this icon, followed by “Add to Home Screen”? Note that clicking the banner at the bottom of the screen will not do anything, it’s the upper-right icon that needs to be clicked:
Best regards,
Thank you for the swift respons.
Yes I can confirm that I have clicked on that icon many times; so many times, with the same (non-) result, that Werner Erhart would deem me insane many times over
Kind Regards
David
Hi David,
I think this might be an iOS 17.1-17.2 issue, according to user reports here.
Apparently, updating to iOS 17.3 fixes it for everyone.
If you unable to update, restarting the device, or going to Settings > Siri and Search > suggestions from Apple
and turning off the “Show when Sharing” feature seemed to fix it for some people.
Best regards,
The banner is misleading, suggest it is amended to read 'Just tap [the icon] in the top line ABOVE then click on “Add to Home Page”
Now understand and yes, it was successful. Suggest close item.
Thank you for your Help
Kind Regards
David
