Simlink Finds Unused Version of P3D

All of a sudden, my simlink status says the P3d V3 plugin is not updated. I don’t have P3sd v3 on my computer, only v4 and v5. What do I do?

Is Simlink working correctly with P3D v4 and v5?
In Navigraph Simlink Plugin Settings Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v3, is there a path? Try uninstall for that entry.

It was working fine for v5, haven’t used v4 although still installed. There is no path for v3.

When do you get the “simlink status says the P3d V3 plugin is not updated” . Does it keep repeating? Is it a problem? Please post a screenshot of the message using Guide to posting Screenshots

I was wrong, there is a path for v3, but it doesn’t exist.

If it isn’t causing you a problem, leave it. Otherwise I suggest a reinstall using exact procedure below:

  • See FAQ - Simlink Install and Systray

  • In Navigraph Simlink Plugin Settings, for your FS entry press Uninstall Simlink.

  • Please use specifically Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink:

  • If they exist delete directories
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and
    c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink.

  • Then download and install latest Simlink .
