I imported a flight plan directly using the simbrief dispatch. Can see it on the world map and hit fly. Built in atc thinks I’m on a different path… are these able to work together?
If I try to follow the flight plan, atc doesn’t give me clearance to the arrival or approach, nor can I get clearance to land since it thinks I’m somewhere else.
For example, flight from KSEA to KPDX, I’m one stop away from KPDX and atc says to continue to BUTTE. On another flight, atc just calls out different waypoints completely.
I know the built in Atc sucks. It works fine for flight plans built from the world map (most times… buggy pos). But if flight plans from simbrief don’t work with atc, then it should be noted to turn off atc and just cowboy it during landings ignoring traffic, or running through them. Immersion killer for sure.
Route usually works, but runway was always different for my 5-10 flights I did using Simbrief dispatch within MSFS: while the Simbrief plan tells me e.g. to take off RWY16R in RKSI, the moment I ask for clearance from the MSFS ATC, it tells me to use RWY15R instead. Not a biggie, but slightly annoying.
I’ve found out it was the plane I was using: inibuilds a320neo v2. Its airac data is not updated.
They blame asobo so they basically saying they won’t fix it.
I use the fbw a320 and it works a lot better. The route can be slightly off, but the approaches usually work if you set it from the world map with the stock atc.
I’ve also given up on the stock atc and use beyond atc now. Works like a charm now.
