RNP AR SBRJ(Santos Dumont) fail. PMDG version 105

Hello Navigraph team,

We recently had an update from PMDG that enabled the aircraft to perform RNP AR approaches.

I’m Brazilian and frequently operate at Santos Dumont Airport (SBRJ), where we have several AR procedures, such as RNP V, U, X, and W. I tested the PMDG on all these approaches but was unsuccessful in completing them satisfactorily.

In the RNP V and U approaches, the aircraft becomes misaligned with the runway. Specifically, on RNP U, this occurs between waypoints RJ904 and RJ906; on RNP V, between RJ911 and RJ906.

In the RNP X and W approaches, the aircraft loses course on the last turn, veering off in the wrong direction. This happens on RNP W between waypoints RJ803 and RJ804, and on RNP X between RJ806 and RJ804.

To determine whether the issue lies with the aircraft or with Navigraph, I executed the RNP R approach at SBVT (Vitória), and the aircraft performed perfectly.

I am not claiming that the issue is on your end; however, I would like to open this topic to understand who I should reach out to for support.

I look forward to your response.

Hi,

report those observations as Ticket to PMDG as it is not a Navdata issue. For example I already reported RNP W RWY 02R. So they are aware of it.
