Some airports have “official” arrivals that don’t connect to a STAR but are a valid last waypoint in terms of CFMU validation, for example.
At LFSB, many eurocontrol valid routes end at RIGVI instead of the first waypoint of a STAR (see chart 10-2A ARRS).
Similarly, at LSZB, many eurocontrol valid routes end at BIRKI (which is the IAF for all approaches, even the circling to 32 start on the runway 14 localizer).
IMO, for these airports, RIGVI resp. BIRKI should be considered a “STAR” for the purposes of the Find SID/STAR feature which should skip the offer to “Find New Route”.
