Problems Updating Simlink for XP12

First of all Happy new Year to all!

I’m running Simlink with XP12, till yesterday every’s fine. The magenta arrow appears to the map. Now he could not connect to xp12. “Could not connect to simulator, Simlink needs to be running”, although running. No connection to Sin.

I wanted to update Simlink and the program told me, that it isn’t able to update Simlink due to missing permissions to folder d:\p3d…

I’m not running p3d for more than 3 Years, I think it’s an relict to former installations, and: I have now Drive D:\

So, how to uninstall Simlink properly and fully in order to renew?

I hopefully solved the problem by myself. I ran regedit, searched the String “D:\P3D”
I found within the Folder Lockheed Martin the subfolder Prepar3dV5 and there on the right side the Key “AppPath” with the value "D:\P3D\ I deleted it, now the Update works.
