Hi
Since the release 2024.68 the automatic luggage calculation of the passengers is no longer correct for me.
example:
I have defined 76kg plus 11kg luggage per passenger in the airframe.
Here I have passenger and freight on automatic and it calculates with 1230kg cargo. But it should be at least 115pax x 11kg = 1265kg
But if I manually enter 115 passengers, it calculates correctly:
what’s wrong?
Stephan
So the thing with simbrief is that its 1 bag per pax, per the weight put in your airframe
Which isnt nearly correct. For domestic its usually .85bag /1 bag then intl anywhere from 1bag/1bag up to 1.25 bags/1 bag ratio
It.also shouldnt be listed as cargo and should be listed as bags/weight and cargo (pieces)/freight (lbs)
This way there is a clear difference with more accurate numbers.

Thank you for the feedback, which I can understand.
But I can’t change anything about SIMBrief’s calculations - or can I?
Nope. Not unless you manually do the payload yourself which i do and then enter the pax number and then put in the total amount of payload
Thanks for the report, I do think I see a potential bug in the recent update.
I’ve applied a fix, let me know if it’s better now.
Cheers,
