No simulators detected by Navdata Center

For those of you that still have problems, please download this special version of the NNC and run it once. It will send us more information on what is going on.

Kind regards,

Markus

Where is this UserCfg file located?

What are the results, from this test version on how this can be solved?

I don’t understand, why not provide a simple addition to the program to add the path?

Hi again, sorry for the delay.

@nfinger Your installation is missing the UserCfg.opt file that is expected to be found here: C:\Users\norbe\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt. Please confirm that this is the case.

Kind regards,

Markus

Hi, that folder does not exist in my roaming folder: C:\Users\norbe\AppData\Roaming..missing completely

@nfinger Is it the Steam version of the simulator you have installed?

Kind regards,

Markus

I do not have the Steam version!

Norbert, can you check this path Marketplace), if the path exist and the file is included:

Cheers
Richard

“C:\Users\norbe\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache” exists
“%appData%\Microsoft Flight Simulator” does not exist

Ok and do you have the usercfg.opt file in the existing path? When yes can you open it and look what you have in the last line of this file? There should be a path …

Cheers & thanks
Richard

Hi all, I’m having that “No Simulators Detected” thing since installing 2209. Was hoping when 2210 was released, it would be fixed. No luck so far. Have tried the suggested procedures above, but it still can’t find my sim. Help would be MUCH appreciated.

Hi,

I’m getting the “no simulators detected”. This happened for the first-time starting Data Center after upgrading to airac 2210. I have the ‘app store’ version of MSFS. I can confirm that “%localAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache” exist and that a UserCfg.opt file is in this folder.

Note that I also have a Microsoft Flight Simulator folder under “Appdata\Roaming\”. But this folder only contains the sub folder “packages”, and inside this there are subfolders for two justflight aircrafts (bae 146 & pa28), each folder containing a work folder with a userinfo.txt file.

I downloaded and tried the special version of the Data Center from m4rkus post 12 days ago, this to send you more information.
