Yes, immediately after launching the game, the restart button removes the error and simply displays a black screen on the tablet.
Alright, thank you.
We did update the package, but the changes were to the MSFS SDK in order to fix a compatibility issue that would prevent certain map elements from loading the in the EFB Planner map…
To narrow this down, please install Beta 1 of the Charts app from this link and see if the issue persists:
navigraph-efb-chartsapp-v1.0.0-beta.1.zip (188.6 KB)
Now everything works. Now I will try updating and trying again.
Alas, the update has failed again. I will continue to use the old version until the problem is fixed.
We have identified the issue! Thanks for the insights, everyone.
The problem is not entirely simple to solve and unfortunately we are low on developer resources at the moment, but we will look deeper into this as soon as possible!
Apologies for the inconvenience! In the meantime, Beta 1 provided above should work fine.
Kind Regards,
Malte
Very impressive customer service. You just convinced me to renew my subscription.
Thanks for the beta 1. It works now!
Thanks so much, great customer service. I for one love your product and from this experience will continue to use you all. I never imagined so many people were having this issue when I created this post. Looking forward to the fix so we can be back to full flight.
Hi everyone,
I’ve attached a version that should properly resolve this. Please test it out and let me know
navigraph-efb-chartsapp.zip (297.1 KB)
Thanks,
Jack
Tried once and works. Will let u know if anything happens. What has this version different from beta 1? Thx
Great to hear. This version is the latest, so includes all additions since beta one as well as a fix for the INOP issue. Long story short, there was a race condition with our data store for the app that has been resolved
Used the EFB to create and fly an IFR flightplan using the new version, no problems! Thanks for the fix.
Edit - The Navigraph Hub shows the EFB Charts App as needing an update. Should we do this yet?
No, please hold off the update for now! The zip provided here in the forum is the (experimental) latest version, the Hub has not yet been updated. It is likely that you will just be downgraded if you try it!
Kind Regards,
Malte
This has fixed the INOP but I now get a CTD when using the Export > ATC and avionics in the Pilatus PC12. I haven’t tested any other aircraft yet.
what to do with this zip archive? i have installed current efb charts through the hub. it does not provide any functionality to install custom version or enable automatic beta downloads.
Same question, I have the new file what do I do with it?
You would unzip the folder into your MSFS 2024 Community folder. This is a Beta test. Please advise if you are not comfortable doing this.
Cheers
Ian
I’m also getting a CTD in the pc24 when exporting the flight plan. It was working perfectly fine after the initial install earlier today but now it is not
tested the alpha release in C172. everything seems to work. no CTD when selecting “EFB->Navigraph Charts->Export->Load as active flightplan”, nor when selecting “EFB->Flight Planner->Export to Avionics”.
repeated in PC-12 and PC-24. no CTD experienced.
For those getting CTDs, are you using the beta version of our navigation data?
If so, please try to make sure that it is loaded in the correct order. We have a bunch of other issues related to this, so it would not surprise me if that would be a factor here as well! It would also explain why some of you are getting CTDs and some not - the order of the packages is likely different between your setups. For more information, see:
