Hello, I downloaded the latest Navigraph Hub version to update to the Airac Cycle 2413 rev.1.
I tried downloading the Airac Cycle multiple times but MSFS won’t use the data.
The content.xml file looks like this
In MSFS in the content management it shows navigraph and navigraph base.
I use AddonsLinker but the content.xml looks untouched even after starting the sim.
Hi,
Welcome to Navigraph. The display on the MCDU can’t be changed from any external source, excluding the cycle date/number, and it seems okay in your screenshot. So, under normal circumstances, the packages will be loaded correctly, but…
Compared with MSFS2020, which allows you to set the priority via the content.xml file, MSFS2024 only loads the packages according to their filenames. This means the package starting with filename A will be loaded before the package with B and overrule the package with filename A. That means it could be possible that some other packages overrule the navdata packages. Therefore, you can’t select the data, see the data, or use the data. It looks like they are not installed even when they are installed.
We have opened a ticket at ASOBO/MS on this topic to get a clear answer as to how such issues can handled and if our interpretation (to rename the packages) is the only way to solve such things. Till today, no response from ASOBO/MS:
Here is the question in their DEV forum on this topic:
I’m sorry that there is no clear answer, but we must wait for their answer if we get one.
On the MCDU, you only see if you are using the latest cycle, not whether you use our Jeppesen data or the stock Lido/FAA data. Only which cycle is loaded. Sorry, there is no possibility of adding any prefix to identify which data from which provider the current cycle is.
It’s not what we have in our hands—the sim is limited (2020/2024). I´m sorry.
