This is very strange. At first after installing Navigraph and all components everything is fine and in the DA40 from COWS I find all the navdata in the G1000 but all of a sudden when starting the sim the other day like usual important FIX waypoints are suddenly gone and cant be found when searching for them creating a flightplan in the COWS DA40 G1000 (FS2024). Seem to be there sometime and missing other times. What gives? I a logged in to Navigraph. Have both tried to have the HUB autostart with Windows and also manually starting the HUB before strting FS2024.
Hi,
Have you tried the same with any default aircraft? I asked, because the COWS hasn’t implemented the newest WT framework, what can be the reason for that?
There are a few postings here on this topic. Here with the COWS, too:
That is nothing that we have in our hands. Therefore, it is essential to know whether the data is generally working.
Cheers
Richard
I can give it a try. Doubt it though given it works on and off in the COWS DA40 G1000. If it did not work at all then I would be more convinced. Seem rather to be something with the account verification in regards to the Cows G1000 or something of that nature.
Hoppas det ordnar sig

Hi, again Mikael,
Indeed, the on/off situation is slightly strange, but I’m honest: the MSFS 2024 is a black box, and we have no real possibility of debugging it. My assumption is that this has only been my experience since day one.
Also, are you using SU1 or SU2 beta? We have discovered that SU2 beta is much better than SU1? But also here, I have no real experience with the COWS DA40 G1000.
And the on/off can be all … The data are there because they worked when it’s on, but they don’t work when it’s off … We also know that the COWS doesn’t use the latest WT navdata framework, so it is possible a combination of all.
Therefore, check the same with the WT G1000 in 2024 if possible. When it works but when the same doesn’t work in the COWS G1000, we have the answer.
Thank you very much for your effort
Richard
Not using any Beta and the problem shows not only on the DA40 G1000 but also on the default C172 G1000. Missing waypoints that are there in the Simbrief app on the tablet in FS2024 but not there on the G1000. Sorry but I might have to cancel my subscription to Navigraph
That I understood you correctly:
You also miss waypoints in the default stock G1000 and/or the EFB?
If yes, please upload a screenshot where we can check the waypoints missing in your G1000?
It is up to you to unsubscribe, of course, but this is not a navdata issue because when the waypoints are there and then not, what do you mean by how we control that? We can’t because the data are there or not, but not one day and the next day not.
If there is any other issue, you should allow us to find it out. But again, it’s in your hands, not in ours.
Cheers
Richard
The navdata is there on the EFB in the Simbrief app when I create the flightplan but not on the G1000 (Cows DA40) or default G1000 for that matter. One missing waypoint is LIBLO on the French island Corsica and also MOULE between ELBA island and Corsica and probsbly many more but I have not had time to test more. I will ser if I can add s screenshot
Hi,
Thank you … I have tried to enter LIBLO manually in the stock C172 G1000 and I can find it without any issues:
I can´t test this in the COWS G1000 but at least in the stock G1000 this example waypoint is existing and can be used without any issues. When you enter the waypoint manually, can you do this?
Can you share your flightplan from SimBrief please, that we can do our tests with this flightplan? Thank you very much!
Cheers,
Richard
Thanks for your reply. I just reset my complete computer system and installed FS2024 and Navigraph. Upon first launch I did a test in both C172 G1000 and Cows G1000 and LIBLO was there. For my next flight however a few hours later (the computer was shut down and other addons installed) LIBLO was gone in both aircraft. Can it possibly be a conflict with another addon I am starting to wonder. I have two external G1000 units from Flightsimbuilder so I use their software to start and autostart FS2024. I use SPAD.NEXT and BeyondATC. I will experiment a bit with excluding these addons and see.
So I started FS2024 without any of the addons or autistarts and what do you know, LIBLO is back.
I assume it´s the same “issue” I told you in my second answer. The issue is the package’s loading order. With the current MSFS 2024 version (SU1), you don´t have any control over it; therefore, it is possible that one package “overrules” another. When this is not in the correct order, it could be that another package overrules the navdata packages.
You can play a bit with the in-game re-ordering tool, but honestly, I haven´t figured out how this works, or if this works correctly.
The good news is:
SU2 (at least with the latest beta) gives you more options to control the loading orders, and we have seen that this works as expected. So there is hope.
But for now, I´m unsure if you can fix this, without losing any packages, data, …
Cheers,
Richard
