Manually downloading FMS data gives 'Access denied'

When I click on > Downloads > Manual downloads > X-Plane 12 > Linux (or Windows, or macOS), I get an ‘Access denied’ error message – this seems to happen with all the manual downloads. It did work a few days ago, for the previous version of the FMS data.

I tried logging out & back in again, but that didn’t help. Is there something else I can do, or is it something that’s to be fixed on your end?

We’re aware of this issue and have investigated a few possible solutions so far to no avail.
The issue is that you have recently used the Charts Cloud app, which in this unfortunate case is interfering with the downloads.

For a temporary workaround, you can clear your cookies or use an incognito/private window in your browser. This should allow you to download the files normally!
