There is a VOR “typo” in the chart for the ILS app rwy18C. There is a vor AYT 115.5, that simply doesn’t exist. That is the position for AYT 114.0.
BTW it’s even not necessary on that specific chart, it’s instead present on the ILS 36C app chart. See enclosed charts.
Pls give a ring to Jepps people, this is a serious threat to sim pilots…
Aside, I don’t know how the new simulators (MSFS) internally manage navaids with the same identifier and country code as is the case here. Previous versions, including P3Dv6, do not allow it and require renaming of TACAN Ids (such as AYTT) for a error free compilation
How do you manage that Navigraph for your provided updates?
Hervé
FWIW, this navaid (AYT TACAN on 115.50) is only pictured on the CAO version of the chart in question, and, as far as I can tell, is not present in the navdata provided by Navigrah.
You’re right, the CH num made me wrong, I have that Turkish AIP AD chart but the Tacan is without freq.
On Navdata Charts only AYT 114.4 is present and also there is an Erzurum Vor ERZ 115.5 leading to confusion. I second Hervé, it’s not a wise decision to have 2 close VORs with the same ID.
Thanks everybody. All the best.
