Hi, in the VOR A rwy 33 approach procedure (with transition SNI 1) for Santorini LGSR, after FF324 the VOR SNI is reported, at an altitude of 3000 ft. In reality, after FF324 there should be runway 33, that is you have to land. With SNI at 3000 ft, you will always result much lower than the vertical “brick” position on the PFD, so you can’t follow that brick and you can’t achieve a good descent profile. Is it possible to replace SNI with runway 33 (at an altitude of 0 ft)? Thanks.
Hi,
This VOR- A approach is a CTL (circle to land) approach, without any runway. No idea which sim you use nor which addon but CTL approaches have no runways. So the coding is as it is.
Cheers
Richard
Hi RIchard, thanks for your reply. I use MSFS with the Fenix A320. In this case, how is the approach to be flown? Simply reach FF324 at 3000 ft, then proceed visually to the runway, disregarding any instrument indication (“bricks” on the A320)?
