KSAN RNAVZ RWY 27 missing waypoints in MSFS A320Neo V2?

I’m new to Navigraph subscription but I was under the impression that " Navigraph Hub updates the navigation data in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 with the current Jeppesen Navdata."

Therefore I’m confused when I attempt to program the KSAN (San Diego) RNAVZ 27 Approach into the A320 MCDU it does not reflect the same waypoints on the Jeppesen Chart i.e. KLOMN, AJADE, CATDG, CRSNR, SAYAE, etc to FAP.

In the A320 MCDU flight plan it only shows KLOMN, SADDO, Manual.

Why does the FS2020 A320 MCDU/FMGS approach flight plan not show the same waypoints as in the Navigraph Jeppesen RNAV Z 27 approach?

Hi…,

Welcome.

Navigraph Charts shows the KSAN RNAV27 approach as :

The FS2020 A320Neo V2 MCDU/FMGS shows the KSAN RNAV27 approach as:

The VIAs or Approach transition waypoints are
KLOMN AJADE CATDG CRSNR SAYAE and
LYNDI VYDDA OKAIN SAYAE.

These are in the Navigraph MSFS 2020 supplied database.

Cheers
Ian

Hi,
In addition to what Ian wrote, I can´t reproduce it.

I have tested the RNAV-Z 27 into KSAN now via KLOMN (current AIRAC cycle, A320neo v2) - that’s what I see in the MCDU and also on the ND:

I assume you don´t handle the MCDU correctly - this approach contains several VIAs, and you must select the VIAs to get the correct sequence. So RNAV-Z 27 VIA KLOMN returns KLOMN - AJADE - CATDG - CRSNR - SAYAE - following with the final approach CIJHI - TOKOE - RW27

I’m sorry, but this sequence (as you also see in the screenshots) seems to be correct compared to our charts. I guess you miss the VIA here in the Airbus MCDU.

Cheers,
Richard

Actually KLOMN, NADDO then manual (vectors); that’s the end of the COMIX2 STAR and unrelated to the approach procedure.

Tim
