Is there a way to download your flight plan directly into your plane

I would like to start MSFS, place myself at an airport gate and then download the flight plan with a departure from that airport directly into my plane, which in this instance is a Cessna 172 G1000. This would also be useful for updating your flight plan mid-journey, without having to come back out into world view.

Is this currently possible and if not, any plans to do so, thanks in advance?

Our Charts and Simbrief apps have the ability to export flight plans in MSFS .pln format.
You can load these in the MSFS World Map page, and I believe these are loaded into the Cessna 172 G1000.

I am not aware of a facility to load these flight plans from within the Cessna 172 G1000 cockpit.
