Improve Ease of Use for MSFS Navigraph Hub

I do not care for the Navigraph Hub app for updating MSFS nav data. It’s a pain to use, and getting worse as the number of aircraft increases. It also doesn’t help that there’s a separate section for the Fenix, just because its nav data is stored outside the simulator.

You have to click the update button for each package and wait for it to update with no progress display. If you try to update too many packages at the same time, it will inevitably fail then you have to reinstall it. Updating the MSFS nav data with Navigraph Hub is a tedious process of clicking update, waiting, then clicking the next one.

In my opinion, it’s actually easier to install updates in the FMS Data Manager app for XP/P3D/FSX. All I have to do is check the box to select all addons, and click Update. It then downloads all of the updates. Two clicks and I can walk away. If I had a choice, that’s what I would use, even if I had to manually define the paths for each addon.

Please consider improving Navigraph Hub to have a method that can be used to update all addons with one or two clicks. This could be done with just an overall Update All button that updates all the addons. The status text for each addon being updated could change to QUEUED until that item is being downloaded.

It would be ideal if the Fenix was included on the same screen (maybe just add a subtext that it is installed outside the simulator).

It would also be nice is download progress was displayed, but it is not as necessary if you can make it a one-two click process to update all items.

The idea here is to be able to start the update for all addons at once with one or two clicks and walk away. When you return, all addons would be updated. FMS Data Manager had this ability, but Navigraph Hub does not.

Hi TimDawg,

We are aware and are working on a completely new version of Navigraph Hub. 100% of your feedback is already in the design

Kind regards,
