Import a Flight Plan from Simbrief

Hello,

I am trying to import a IFR plan from simbrief but it keeps saying its VFR.

I want the circles to be saying IFR not VFR. This way I can get more detailed information, such as the transition points.

Any help will be much appreciated.

The “circles” represent the current weather conditions at EGLC and EGMC (based on the METAR), not the type of flight being flown

I must admit I don’t quite understand what you mean by “extra map information”, sorry. Could you elaborate a bit?

Hi Tim,

I am trying to get my map to include TRIPO and GEGMU as in the youtube picture which was on the youtube Q8 stream.

My map at home does not include that.

The two map pictures (home and youtube channel) above shows the difference.

Oh, that’s just an older version of the chart in the above YouTube video. Those transitions were seemingly “discontinued” in late January of this year. There’s a note about it at the bottom of the chart:
