When I try to insert a cargo weight the generator overrules my settings and make the maximum value… This makes flight planning very difficult because for many flight the maximum value is about MTOW.

Hi Julean,

Note that the “Freight” option is only for adding additional freight. Some cargo is already added automatically for passenger baggage. Please refer to the User Guide for more details on this.

It is possible to prevent SimBrief from adding baggage automatically by creating a custom airframe and setting the passenger “Baggage Weight” to “0”.
