FMSData Manager does not release CPU after Flying

2024-03-09.

Recently i noticed that after flying MSFS and exiting MSFS, there was a high CPU Load10-20%, making the fans to not spool down in my PC (WIN 10-LATEST).

The only way is to kill the process under Detail inTask Manager. (Not Processes! - Wont Work!)

Would be great if you have a remedy or fix for this

Hi,
thanks for the info. We are still working on it. You don’t need to run the FMS Data Manager on every flight. It is only a tool to download and install the AIRAC data into your addons.

So, normally you need to start it once a time, when the cycle is released. Just for info

… but again, thank you very much for the report. We are still under investigation.

Cheers
Richard
