I have just noticed in the past 2 days that the FMS data manager app is registering 15-20% CPU usage, even if I haven’t used a flight sim or opened the app.
The NAV data is up-to-date (2408 rev 1) and all file paths are correct to X-Plane 11. I even re-updated the nav data to make sure there wasn’t something corrupt that it was attempting to correct, but am still having the same issue.
The only way I can eliminate the CPU usage is by ending the task in the Windows Task Manager. I understand that the app doesn’t need to be running for nav data to generate in flight sims, so I took it off my startup apps listing, but I really did like the convenience of being notified when an update is available.
